On Wednesday, 28 August 2024, CBS Mornings welcomes actor Tony Danza and Paralympian Daniel Romanchuk to the show.
Tony Danza is an American actor, best known for starring in beloved television series such as Taxi (1978-1983) and Who’s the Boss? (1984-1992). He also hosted his own TV talk show, The Tony Danza Show, from 2004 to 2006. Danza has received numerous award nominations for his acting work, including an Emmy Award and four Golden Globe Awards. In addition to his acting career, Danza is a retired professional boxer, having compiled a record of 9-3 with nine knockout victories.
Daniel Romanchuk is an elite American Paralympic athlete, primarily competing in wheelchair racing events. Born with spina bifida, Romanchuk began participating in adaptive sports programs at the age of two. He has achieved remarkable success in his sporting career, winning the Chicago Marathon in 2018 and becoming the first American and youngest winner of the New York City Marathon’s wheelchair event in the same year. Romanchuk has also won the Boston Marathon and the London Marathon in 2019, as well as the Chicago Marathon again in 2019. He represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan.
