On Thursday, September 5, CBS Mornings welcomes Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Sen. Mark Kelly, author of The Mousetronaut, influencer Jake Shane, and Sarah Gelman, editorial director for Amazon Books.

Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, is set to discuss his upcoming season with the Chiefs. Kelce, who is entering his 12th NFL season, has expressed his desire to play “until the wheels fall off” and take on a heavy workload in 2024. He is the highest-paid tight end in the NFL and is excited about the addition of first-round speedster Xavier Worthy to the Chiefs’ offense.

Sen. Mark Kelly, a US Senator from Arizona, will be promoting his latest book, The Mousetronaut. This is the third book in the Mousetronaut series, which follows the adventures of Meteor the Mousetronaut and his team as they defend Earth from various threats.

Jake Shane, an American influencer and comedian, will be discussing his recent success on TikTok. Shane’s humorous reenactments of historical events went viral in 2023, earning him over 100,000 followers within a week. He has since been nominated for a Streamy Award and appeared on TikTok’s inaugural LGBTQ+ Pride Visionary Voices List. Shane also hosts a podcast, Therapuss with Jake Shane, where he responds to listener questions in a therapy session format.
