So, what’s up with CBS’s morning shows this week? A mix of the serious and the celebratory, it seems. If you’re a regular viewer of CBS Mornings or CBS Saturday Morning, or just someone who enjoys a bit of morning TV now and then, this week’s lineup might pique your interest.
Kicking things off on CBS Saturday Morning, February 8, we’ve got music from 49 Winchester, because apparently, alt-country is a thing that happens on Saturday mornings now. Chef Alain Verzeroli will be whipping up something culinary-ish, and they’re taking a look at the history of the Superdome.
Shifting gears to the weekday edition, Monday, February 10, sees actor Justin Hartley plugging his CBS series, TRACKER, and Ad Age editor-in-chief Jeanine Poggi showing up for some reason. David Begnaud continues his “Beg-Knows America” segment, for those who like their morning news with a side of quirky human interest.
CBS Mornings is leading with an exclusive interview on Tuesday, February 11, with Connie Boss Alexander and Dre Rose, the mother and brother of the late Stephen “tWitch” Boss. This is their first television interview since his passing in 2022, and it’s sure to be an emotional one.
Tuesday also features podcast host Alex Cooper, from “Call Her Daddy.” I can only assume she’ll offer some… sage advice? Or maybe just talk about whatever gets talked about on “Call Her Daddy.”
Wednesday, February 12, brings Demi Moore to the table, likely to chat about whatever Demi Moore chats about these days. And because Valentine’s Day is looming, Amazon Books’ Sarah Gelman will offer some book recommendations.
Thursday gives us ultramarathoner Jonathan Pascual in the “NOTE TO SELF” segment, because inspirational stories are always a good way to start the day.
The week wraps up on Friday, February 14, with music from The War and Treaty and Christina Funke Tegbe, founder and CEO of 54 Thrones, featured in the “CHANGING THE GAME” segment.
CBS Mornings airs weekdays from 7:00-9:00 AM, and CBS Saturday Morning airs Saturdays at the same time, both on CBS.
