CBS Scraps Plans for ‘Cold Case’ Reboot

CBS has abandoned its plans to reboot the popular crime drama ‘Cold Case’. Initially teased in April, the network has now scrapped the project, as reported by TV Line.

Set to introduce a new team of investigators solving cold cases in the Southwest, the reboot would have built upon the legacy of the original series. The first iteration of ‘Cold Case’ aired on CBS for seven seasons between 2003 and 2010, featuring Kathryn Morris as Detective Lilly Rush alongside an ensemble cast that included Justin Chambers, Thom Barry, John Finn, Jeremy Ratchford, Danny Pino, Sarah Brown, and Tracie Thoms.
