CBS Will Air “The 46th Annual Kennedy Center Honors” on Wed, Dec. 27

The 46th Annual Kennedy Center Honors will air on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, on the CBS Television Network and stream on Paramount+. The honorees for this year include actor and comedian Billy Crystal, soprano Renée Fleming, singer-songwriter Barry Gibb, rapper Queen Latifah, and singer Dionne Warwick. The host for the event will be former Kennedy Center Honoree Gloria Estefan, who is returning for her third time hosting.

The honorees will be celebrated in a star-studded event at the Kennedy Center Opera House on December 3, 2023. Performers from New York, Hollywood, and other arts capitals will pay tribute to the honorees through performances and tributes. This year’s event will also honor the 50th anniversary of hip hop.

The Kennedy Center Honors recognizes individuals who have made unique contributions to the performing arts and have had an impact on American life and culture. Whether in music, dance, theater, opera, motion pictures, or television, the honorees have influenced audiences from all walks of life.

The special will be produced by Done+Dusted in association with ROK Productions. Elizabeth Kelly and David Jammy serve as executive producers, and Alex Rudzinski is the director.

Viewers can watch the special live on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscriptions or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special airs. Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers will also have the option to stream live via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service.
