Celebrating Pride Month 2023 on Ovation TV
Celebrating Pride, a curated on-demand lineup in Ovation NOW destination Arthouse, and weekday morning linear programming on Ovation TV, celebrates LGBTQ artists and artistic expression across all mediums during Pride Month in 2023. Starting Thursday, June 1st, and continuing through the weeks of June 5th and 12th, titles will be accessible on demand.
Ovation will air a specially curated lineup of programming celebrating LGBTQ artists and their work every weekday morning for two weeks beginning Monday, June 5th at 6am ET. Documentary filmmaker Bobbi Jo Hart’s 2017 film Rebels on Pointe tells the story of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, an all-male drag ballet company that was founded over 40 years ago in the wake of New York City’s Stonewall riots. Beginning on June 1, the arts network will air a series and a film titled Celebrating Pride, which honors LGBTQ artists who have made significant contributions to the national and international stage.The following films will be available in the Ovation NOW app’s Arthouse section throughout the entire month of June without charge. The Ovation NOW app can be found on Roku, Android, Apple TV, and iOS devices for no cost.
