Eschewing the usual Road Trip chariots, Jet and Hunter will navigate the scenic byways of Lancashire in a classic Fiat 500. One can only hope the car’s suspension is as robust as the former Gladiators themselves. Antique experts Ishy Khan and Margie Cooper join them, presumably prepared to referee any potential bouts of over-enthusiastic bargain hunting.
Their quest for treasures will lead them to antique shops in Eccleston, Longridge, and Darwen. Jet’s eye is caught by a particularly striking sculpture in Eccleston, while Hunter unearths an item in Longridge with a curious personal connection. The episode also features a detour to learn about a local strongman from Darwen – a fitting tribute to the Gladiators’ athletic prowess.
