On July 12, 2020, following a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s house, hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion was shot in the foot, with the incident sparking an intense media storm and a legal battle that shocked the world.
The shooting, which took place during a glamorous Hollywood night, allegedly involved Canadian rapper and singer Tory Lanez, who was later identified by Megan as her shooter in an Instagram Live video on August 20, 2020.
At his trial Lanez was found guilty and sentenced to ten years in prison. However, the case continued to spark debates among fans, with some insisting on Lanez’s innocence and questioning the events that led to the shooting.
