In the kitchen, only eight celebrities remain in the competition, and they face two challenging tasks that will determine their fate.
The episode, airing on BBC One on Tuesday, 10 September 2024, at 8 pm, sees the contestants transported to the South Downs National Park, where they encounter the Butser Ancient Farm, a living museum that brings ancient Britain to life.
Here, they are divided into two teams and tasked with creating a feast fit for an Anglo-Saxon village, complete with 70 volunteers recreating the era’s atmosphere. The celebrities must devise a menu that embodies the historical setting while also satisfying the hearty appetites of their “villagers.” And with the threat of a Viking invasion looming, the stakes are higher than ever.
Back in the MasterChef kitchen, the celebrities face their food nemesis as John and Gregg challenge them to create a dish celebrating an ingredient they don’t particularly enjoy. This task pushes them to confront their dislikes head-on and present a delicious plate of food with that ingredient taking centre stage. The question is, will they dare to taste their own creations?
Celebrity MasterChef Season 19 Episode 13 airs Tuesday, 10 September 2024, at 8.00 pm on BBC One.
