In the fifth episode of this second season of Celebrity Race Across the World, the teams are on a challenging journey to the mountain town of Tilcara in northern Argentina. With the race nearing its end, the pairs will cover almost half the length of Argentina in under four days, facing financial pressures and the unexpected expenses of the country.
Tilcara, their destination, sits 2,500 meters above sea level and is over 10,000 years old. The teams set off from Tigre, on the banks of the Paraná River, and head north towards this ancient mountain town.
As their budgets come under increasing strain, the celebrities and their racing partners must deal, with not only the physical demands of the race but also the financial challenges posed by the unexpected costs of their journey through Argentina.
