The Channel 4 app has launched on Sky Q, expanding its streaming content to millions of TV viewers. This addition complements Sky Q’s existing on-demand offering and provides access to a wide range of popular shows and features.

The Channel 4 app is now available on Sky Q, expanding its reach to millions of TV viewers. This launch enables viewers to access the full range of Channel 4’s streaming content on Sky Q, including popular shows such as Gogglebox, The Inbetweeners, and The Great British Bake Off.

The app offers features such as personalized content suggestions, the ability to continue watching across multiple devices, and a ‘My List’ feature for bookmarking shows. In the future, Channel 4 will also introduce Live Restart functionality on Sky Q, allowing viewers to catch up on programmes they’ve missed from the beginning.

Karla Berry, from Channel 4, expressed excitement about the expanded partnership, while Jon Simkin from Sky highlighted the enhancement of the entertainment experience for customers.

In addition to Sky Q, the Channel 4 app is available on various other platforms, including Freeview Play, Sky Glass, Virgin Media, Samsung and Sony smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, BT TV, TalkTalk TV, Xbox, PlayStation, Apple TV, and mobile devices.

Earlier this year, Channel 4 rebranded its streaming service from ‘All 4’ to ‘Channel 4’ to align with the brand identity across its digital and linear channels.
