Channel 4 Orders New Documentary Series “Yorkshire By The Sea”

Channel 4

Channel 4 has ordered a new four-part documentary series, Yorkshire By The Sea, produced by True North. The series will celebrate the people and landscapes of England’s largest county, Yorkshire, focusing on the lives and work of those living and working along the 100-mile stretch of the Yorkshire coastline.

The series will showcase the challenges faced by locals, including the impact of climate change and the efforts to combat it through innovation and diversification. It will also highlight the unique characteristics and attractions of the region, from the seaside resorts of Saltburn and Scarborough to the shifting sands of Spurn Point.

Yorkshire By The Sea will air on Channel 4 in 2025.
