The Chateau Murders, also known as The Wall season 2, makes its debut on More 4. This compelling French-Canadian crime thriller, presented by Walter Presents, centres around the mysterious death of disgraced engineer Hubert Philippin.
The story unfolds at the prestigious Hotel Château Frontenac, where a civil engineering convention takes place. However, the event is overshadowed by the gruesome discovery of Philippin’s body, found dead in a bath of cement.
Enter Maverick detective Céline Trudeau, who embarks on a complex investigation with her new partner, Daphné Constant. Inexperienced but meticulous, Constant brings a rule-abiding approach to the team. Meanwhile, Céline’s previous partner, Alex Theberge, grapples with PTSD and finds himself drawn back into the fold, determined to contribute however he can.
As the investigation progresses, the potential involvement of powerful corporations looms, adding a challenging dimension to the case. With Philippin deemed responsible for a past tragedy, revenge emerges as a possible motive for the murder.
