Chef Alex Guarnaschelli has signed an exclusive multi-year agreement with Food Network, encompassing various projects across the network’s linear and digital platforms. The deal includes opportunities for Guarnaschelli to develop and produce new creative content.
Betsy Ayala, Head of Content, Food for Warner Bros. Discovery, announced the agreement, highlighting Guarnaschelli’s passion and popularity among both viewers and fellow Food Network talent saying “Alex Guarnaschelli’s passion comes through in everything she does.” Guarnaschelli expressed her enthusiasm for continuing her long-standing relationship with the network, where she has appeared in over 600 episodes since her first appearance in 2006.
Guarnaschelli is a world-renowned chef who trained in France and New York with acclaimed chefs such as Guy Savoy and Daniel Boulud. She is the executive chef at Butter, where she created an eclectic American menu inspired by green-market ingredients.
Guarnaschelli first appeared on Food Network in 2006 and has since become a staple of the network, starring in her own series, Alex vs. America, and serving as a judge and host on various shows, including Chopped, Supermarket Stakeout, and Ciao House.
She is the author of several cookbooks, including Old-School Comfort Food, The Home Cook, and Cook with Me, and her newest book, Italian American Forever, will be released in October 2024. Guarnaschelli won the title of Iron Chef on The Next Iron Chef: Redemption, solidifying her culinary expertise and reputation.
