Chicago Med is bracing for a Halloween onslaught in “Bad Habits.” The Gaffney Chicago Medical Center ED becomes a scene of holiday-fueled chaos, testing the staff’s ability to handle the influx of patients and maintain their composure amidst the costumed revelry.

Amid the spooky festivities, Hannah (Jessy Schram) finds herself tending to a pregnant woman with an autistic son, requiring her to balance medical expertise with compassionate care.

Meanwhile, Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) faces a professional clash with Nurse Jackie (Natalie Zea) over a challenging psych case. Their differing approaches to patient care could lead to a tense standoff, potentially impacting the well-being of their shared patient.

As the ED staff grapples with the usual emergencies and the added strain of Halloween night, personal and professional boundaries blur.

Will they be able to rise to the occasion and provide effective care amidst the distractions, or will the holiday havoc push them to their limits? “Bad Habits” suggests that even amidst the costumes and candy, the real-life drama of the ED never takes a break.

The cast also includes Steven Weber as Dr. Dean Archer, Marlyne Barrett as Maggie Lockwood, Luke Mitchell as
Dr. Mitch Ripley, Sarah Ramos as Dr. Caitlin Lenox and Courtney Dietz as Olivia Graham.
