The ninth season of Chicago Med concludes with the season finale, “I Think I Know You, But Do I Really?“. The episode, airing on Wednesday May 22 on NBC, features Dr. Mitch Ripley (Luke Mitchell) and Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) treating a high-risk prisoner who may be suffering from dementia. Meanwhile, tensions rise between Dr. Dean Archer (Steven Weber) and Sean Archer (Luigi Sottile) when they clash over the treatment of a resident from Margo’s facility. Elsewhere, Dr. Crockett Marcel (Dominic Rains) receives shocking news.

The ninth season of Chicago Med has delivered some tense medical storylines. The season introduced new cast member Luke Mitchell as Dr. Mitch Ripley, an emergency physician with a history of impulse control issues and a connection to Dr. Charles. We also saw the departure of Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss), one of the show’s original cast members.

Throughout the season, the doctors and nurses of Gaffney Chicago Medical Center have faced a range of challenging cases. Meanwhile, Maggie (Marlyne Barrett) and Dr. Charles helped a struggling nurse from the burn unit, and Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) was forced to make a difficult decision regarding her ex-husband Bert’s future.
