In the fifth episode of Hallmark’s original series, The Chicken Sisters, streaming on October 3, 2024, on Hallmark+, tensions rise and sisterly bonds are tested. Amanda (Schuyler Fisk) finds herself in a dilemma as she grapples with new information about Frank Jr. (James Kot).
Seeking space, she attempts to fly under the radar, only to find herself crashing at Mae’s (Genevieve Angelson) place for a spontaneous sleepover filled with pie, gossip, and a pillowcase race, reminding them of their old sisterly connection.
Meanwhile, Frankie (Cassandra Sawtell) takes on the challenging task of coaching her dad, Frank Jr., on how to rekindle his relationship with Amanda. As Amanda’s feelings for Frank Jr. resurface, she is pulled back towards Frannie’s, unsure of her next move.
The episode also sees a clash between Nancy (Lea Thompson) and Gus (Wendie Malick), as they disagree over Gus’s treatment of Amanda. Their argument escalates, leading to a messy conclusion.
