The Kansas City Chiefs’ 22-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football drew an average of 24.8 million viewers across NBC and Peacock, making it the most-watched Week 3 game in NBC SNF history.

Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs with two touchdown passes, while the defense held strong in the fourth quarter, stopping two key Falcons drives. Viewership peaked at 27.5 million just before halftime, according to Nielsen and Adobe Analytics data.

This viewership figure marks a 20% increase from last year’s Week 3 SNF matchup, Steelers vs. Raiders, which attracted 20.6 million viewers. Through the first three weeks, NBC Sunday Night Football has seen an average of 24.3 million viewers, its strongest start since 2015, with every game so far outperforming last year’s corresponding matchups.
