Food Network’s “Chopped” heats up the kitchen with a fiery finale to its “Hungry for Love” tournament this Tuesday. The episode, “Hungry for Love: Finale,” brings back the winning teams from previous battles for a final culinary throwdown. Among the contenders are a dating couple, a married couple, a duo of exes, and, perhaps most intriguingly, a couple who met on a blind date.
With $50,000 at stake, the pressure is on. The appetizer round features lamb as the primary ingredient. Will the heat of competition melt away any lingering romantic sparks? Given “Chopped’s” penchant for unusual ingredients, expect the unexpected in the dessert round, featuring pear and pancake components.
