On the Tuesday night episode of Chopped, four champion chefs return to the kitchen to compete in a special tournament honoring legendary judge Alex Guarnaschelli. The winner of this challenge will advance to the grand finale, with the added bonus of having Alex as their sous chef.
In the first round, the chefs must create dishes using a French pastry and a richly flavored fish, among other ingredients, as part of a culinary puzzle designed by Alex herself.
The entrée round features a beloved, humble ingredient, and the final two chefs compete in the dessert round, aiming to impress with their creations using Alex’s favorite sweet ingredients. Only one chef will secure their spot in the tournament’s grand finale.
