“City on a Hill” Season 3 First-Look Trailer Released – Sun, July 10 on Showtime

The third season of Showtime’s critically acclaimed Boston drama series City On A Hill, starring Emmy® nominee Kevin Bacon and Screen Actors Guild® award winner Aldis Hodge, will premiere on Sunday, July 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, and the network has released a first look trailer for the new season.
Jill Hennessy, Lauren E. Banks, and Matthew Del Negro also star in the show, with Emmy contender Corbin Bernsen, Joanne Kelly, and Ernie Hudson joining the cast as guest stars this season. There are eight one-hour episodes in season three.
The third season of City On A Hill takes us to Boston’s affluent Beacon Hill. Jackie Rohr (Bacon) obtains a fancy new job as a security guard for a wealthy family after leaving the FBI and throwing his badge into Boston Harbor. Life is wonderful until secrets are revealed. When an enquiry begins, ADA Decourcy Ward (Hodge) sees an opportunity to take out the machinery that keeps the criminal justice system defective. Siobhan Quays (Banks), who is representing a construction worker who was seriously wounded on the Big Dig, witnesses first-hand the city’s corruption while dealing with the anguish of the previous year. Given Jenny Rohr’s (Hennessy) past with her father, some experiences will haunt you to the point of breaking.
City on a Hill is executive produced by multiple Emmy winner Tom Fontana (Homicide: Life on the Street), who also serves as showrunner. In addition, City on a Hill is executive produced by Jennifer Todd, Jorge Zamacona, Kevin Bacon, Aldis Hodge, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Barry Levinson.
