Neil Morrissey and Martin Clunes, stars of the classic sitcom Men Behaving Badly, are back together for a new travel series on Gold, Neil & Martin’s Bon Voyage. The three-part show will see Morrissey showing Clunes the best of southern France, with Gold now confirming it starts at 9pm on Tuesday, 25 March.
Here’s the Lowdown: The series follows Morrissey as he guides Clunes through France, a country Morrissey considers his second home. They’ll explore Normandy, the Alps, and even Morrissey’s own cider apple orchard in the south, taking in the food, landscapes, and local traditions. The show brings together again the stars famous for their potrayals of Tony and Gary in Men Behaving Badly.
What This Means Now: Fans of Men Behaving Badly, which ended 27 years ago, get to see the two actors reunite in a completely different setting. It’s a chance to see their real-life friendship play out against the backdrop of a French adventure. Morrissey recently appeared in the Channel 5 drama Finders Keepers, Clunes recently starred in the ITV thriller Out There.
The Bigger Picture: This travelogue offers more than just beautiful scenery; it’s about the reconnection of two friends with a long shared history. It also taps into the popularity of celebrity travel shows, with a heavy dose of nostalgia for fans of their previous work together. Neil & Martin’s Bon Voyage will screen at 9pm on Tuesday March 25th on Gold.
