CNN’s “How It Really Happened” Returns Sunday, April 28

CNN’s original series, How It Really Happened, hosted by actor Jesse L. Martin, returns for a new instalment on Sunday, April 28, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The special two-hour premiere will revisit the sinking of the Titanic in 1912 and the more recent underwater voyages to its ruins, which have claimed additional lives.

Martin, known for his Tony-winning role in Rent and his roles in Law & Order and The Flash, takes on the role of host with enthusiasm, sharing his fascination with mysteries. In his own words, “It’s amazing to be part of something where you’re literally on the pulse of what’s actually happening. These mysteries aren’t solved, so they’re continuously being investigated.”

The episode, titled “Titanic Part 1: A Clear and Starry Night,” will explore the hostile environment of the Titanic’s underwater ruins, where less than 50 people have ventured. It will also examine how recent advances in science and technology have revealed hidden secrets, challenging previous thinking about the ship’s mysteries and myths.
