“Cobra Kai” Sets February 13, 2025 Date for Final Episodes: The End of an Era

“Cobra Kai” is finally wrapping things up. After five seasons of rekindled rivalries, high school drama, and enough karate to choke a dojo, Netflix is giving the show a send-off with the third part of Season 6, arriving February 13, 2025. This marks the true end of a saga that kicked off way back in 1984 with the original “Karate Kid.” Who knew Daniel LaRusso getting crane-kicked in the face would spawn a multi-generational karate opera spanning four decades?

Picking up after the dramatic events of the Sekai Taikai, the final episodes find both Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai at a crossroads. With the tournament’s outcome still stinging, the future of both dojos, and the students within, hangs in the balance. What started as a small-town rivalry has escalated into a global karate conflict, impacting everyone from the original senseis down to the newest recruits. It all comes down to these final episodes to resolve nearly forty years worth of grudges, rivalries and roundhouse kicks.

While plot details are as scarce as a black belt in humility, fans are already placing bets on how it’ll all shake out. Will Johnny Lawrence finally find peace (and a decent hair product)? Will Daniel LaRusso manage to keep his dealership afloat while training the next generation of karate kids? And most importantly, will we get one last epic All-Valley Karate Tournament?

Returning for one last karate kick are Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, and Thomas Ian Griffith, along with the sizable ensemble cast introduced throughout the series. Executive producers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg have their work cut out for them in bringing this sprawling karate saga to a satisfying close.

“Cobra Kai” Season 6 Part 3 premieres February 13, 2025, on Netflix.
