Collector’s Call: Claire Peterson: Transformers (Me-TV, Sunday, June 1, 2025)

Collector's Call Key Art

Me-TV is rolling out the robots this Sunday with a Collector’s Call that’s more than meets the eye. Airing at 6:30 PM ET, Claire Peterson: Transformers (Season 6, Episode 8) introduces a collector who’s bucking stereotypes and amassing a truly impressive horde of transforming toys. Claire Peterson isn’t just a casual fan—she’s a full-blown devotee, with roughly 1,100 Transformers on display and over 2,000 more boxed up in storage. And yes, every single one is different.

Hosted by Lisa Whelchel (Blair from The Facts of Life, in case you’ve been living under a rock), Collector’s Call travels the country in search of everyday people with extraordinary collections. This episode turns the spotlight on Peterson and her impressive array of bots, spanning every generation from G1 to Beast Wars and beyond. As always, series expert Ben Talmage is on hand to assess the collection’s value and offer up a trade—though given that he’s previously encountered Peterson at a Michigan toy convention, the usual dynamic gets a friendly remix.
