Enter a world of colorful, holey footwear this Sunday on Me-TV’s “Collector’s Call.” The episode, “Doogie Sandtiger: Crocs,” features a man with a passion for…well, Crocs. And not just a few pairs. Doogie Sandtiger holds the Guinness World Record for the largest collection of Crocs, boasting over 3,500 pairs.
From high-end collaborations to those questionable chicken franchise tie-ins, Doogie has them all. His collection isn’t just a quirky hobby; it’s a testament to his perseverance. Growing up in foster care, Doogie never mastered the art of tying his shoes. The slip-on convenience of Crocs offered a solution, and his collection blossomed from there, even featuring a pair he wore to his brother’s wedding.
As always, host Lisa Whelchel guides us through the collection, marveling at its sheer size and variety. Toy expert John Ragusa is on hand to appraise the collection and, as per “Collector’s Call” tradition, tempt Doogie with a trade for a particularly unique item. Will Doogie part with one of his prized Crocs? Find out this Sunday, April 27 at 6:30 PM ET on Me-TV.
