Collector’s Call returns to Me-TV with a new episode, “Shelley Jobe: Goofy,” airing on Sunday, August 25, 2024. The episode features middle-school art teacher Shelley Jobe and her unique collection of memorabilia dedicated to the beloved Disney character, Goofy.
Host Lisa Whelchel invites viewers into Shelley’s world as she shows off her extensive collection of Goofy items. From vintage lawn-mowing memorabilia to one-of-a-kind marionettes and plush toys, Shelley’s passion for the character is evident. To appraise Shelley’s collection, Lisa brings in professional appraiser Josh Johnson, who will put a value on the entire assortment.
In a special twist, Josh also tempts Shelley with a unique proposition: the opportunity to trade for a vintage treasure from his personal Disney collection. Will Shelley be enticed to part with any of her beloved Goofy memorabilia?
Shelley also receives a surprise message and a special gift from Bill Farmer, the longtime voice of Goofy in Disney animation.
