Grab your party hats and sharpen your carving knives, because “Come Dine With Me” is turning 20! Two decades of dinner party disasters, culinary catastrophes, and enough passive-aggressive compliments to fill a library – it’s a milestone worth celebrating. And what better way to mark the occasion than with a new week of competitive cooking in Birmingham?
Kicking things off is 38-year-old medical receptionist Fiona, who’s bringing the party vibes (along with, hopefully, some edible food). Her guests, a motley crew consisting of Tim (58, project manager), Danielle (29, administrator), Amanda (56, advisory teacher and contemporary witch), and Maggie (61, caregiver), look ready to judge. Will Fiona’s “party twist” be a hit or a miss with this discerning group?
From culinary skill (or lack thereof) to kitchen cleanliness and the ever-important entertainment factor, every detail will be dissected and scored. And with £1000 on the line, the pressure is on to deliver. Tune in to Channel 4 on Monday, 17 March at 5:30 PM to see if Fiona’s dinner party is a vibe or a jibe.
