In the cutthroat world of competitive dining, where culinary reputations are made or broken over a vol-au-vent, student Stance steps into the “Come Dine with Me” arena, armed with a menu inspired by his Lebanese and Persian heritage and a secret weapon: his mum.
Hosting in the Bristol area, Stance faces an uphill battle. His guests arrive with expectations lower than a limbo champion’s center of gravity, convinced that a student budget and culinary inexperience will result in a dining disaster. But Stance is determined to prove them wrong.
With his mother providing culinary backup, Stance attempts to whip up a feast that will not only satisfy their appetites but also shatter their preconceived notions. Will his fusion of Lebanese and Persian cuisine be a hit or a miss? Will the pressure cooker environment of the competition prove too much? And most importantly, will his guests be able to pronounce the dishes?
