It’s day 2 in Birmingham, meet Tim, a self-proclaimed DIY devotee and project manager who believes meticulous planning will be his winning ticket. Tim will attempt to wow his guests, but is precision in the workshop really transferable to the kitchen? His efforts are likely to be undermined as the episode unfolds.
As usual, the focus is less on gourmet cuisine and more on the personalities around the table. Fiona faces her fear of devilled eggs, Danielle gets a lesson in the difference between raw and live fish and Amanda finds Tim’s piano playing leaves something to be desired. Plus there are revelations to come. First comes Maggie’s shock at learning who Tim’s famous sibling is and then Danielle’s unexpected educational history which sets tongues wagging.
