Comedy “Act Your Age” Will Premiere This March on Bounce

On Saturday, March 4 at 8PM ET/7PM CT, Bounce, will launch its newest original series, “Act Your Age,” developed in association with MGM.

The premieres launch the 16-episode first season, which will be split into two parts: the first eight episodes will air weekly from March through June, while the remaining eight will air over the summer.

The half-hour comedy follows three vivacious, successful women in their 50s from the Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia area who, having reached a personal crossroads, decide that working together is the best way to move forward. Yvette Nicole Brown (“Community,” “The Mayor,” “Big Shot”), Tisha Campbell (“Uncoupled,” “My Wife and Kids,” “Dr. Ken”), and Kym Whitley (“Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Next Friday,” “Young and Hungry”) star in “Act Your Age.”

Real estate developer Bernadette, played by Whitley, is a no-nonsense businesswoman. While Brown portrays Angela, the former First Lady of Norfolk, Virginia, who is trying to start over after the death of her husband, a respected career politician, Campbell plays Keisha, the group’s wild card who is always up to something.

Mariah Robinson (“The Wrong Valentine”) and Nathan Anderson (“Black-ish,” “Richie Rich”) play Angela and Bernadette’s children in their twenties, respectively, in the multigenerational sitcom.

Alyson Fouse (“Big Shot,” “Everybody Hates Chris,” “The Wanda Sykes Show“) created the series and serves as showrunner and executive producer. The series is executive produced by Barry Poznick, Bradley Gardner (“Hot in Cleveland“), and David Hudson; and co-executive produced by Ranada Shepard and Ken Ornstein (“Everybody Loves Raymond“).
