In this week’s “Contraband: Seized at the Border,” a seemingly innocuous maneuver triggers a high-stakes chase and a discovery that underscores the daily dangers faced by Customs and Border Protection officers.
When a vehicle makes an abrupt about-face near the border, agents’ suspicions are immediately aroused. What begins as routine surveillance quickly escalates into a pursuit, as the driver attempts to evade capture.
