Fox Nation’s “Cops” returns with a new episode, “Playtime is Over,” this Friday, taking viewers on a ride-along across three different states. The cinéma vérité series offers a raw, unedited look at law enforcement, capturing the unpredictable nature of police work in Wichita, Kansas, Pinellas County, Florida, and Fontana, California.
In Wichita, a routine traffic stop turns into a high-speed pursuit when a driver decides to test his luck against the local PD. The chase ends, as many do, with a crash, leaving officers to deal with the aftermath. Down in Florida, Pinellas County deputies hunt for a man wanted on a fentanyl charge. Their search leads them to a nearby backyard, where they suspect he’s hiding.
Meanwhile, in California, officers in Fontana investigate a robbery at a phone store. The crime, initially reported as a simple theft, takes a more serious turn when it’s revealed that an employee was threatened over a stolen portable speaker. As always, “Cops” lets the action speak for itself, with no narration and all commentary coming directly from the officers involved.
“Cops: Playtime is Over” airs Friday, April 18 at 6:00 PM on Fox Nation.
