The collision investigation unit is called out to a serious late-night incident on a dark, unlit dual carriageway. At first, the scene appears to be a tragic but straightforward case, but the evidence soon presents a baffling and highly unusual puzzle for the experienced officers.
When the team discovers the seriously injured man was not in a car but was instead travelling on an electric scooter, the entire investigation changes. The detectives must now piece together how and why anyone would be riding such a vulnerable vehicle in one of the most dangerous environments imaginable, turning a routine crash investigation into a complex search for answers.
