Cross Series Gets Early Season 2 Renewal, First Look at NYCC

Cross First Look

Prime Video brought its upcoming thriller series Cross, based on James Patterson’s Alex Cross books, to New York Comic Con for a panel moderated by MSNBC’s Joy Reid. Star Aldis Hodge, showrunner Ben Watkins, and cast members Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, and Ryan Eggold were on hand to unveil a first-look clip.

The series follows Alex Cross (Hodge), a detective and forensic psychologist with a knack for getting inside the minds of killers. Hodge not only stars but also serves as a producer.

Interestingly, Cross has already been renewed for a second season, a vote of confidence from Prime Video even before its first season premiere. With a cast this strong and source material as popular as Patterson’s novels, it’s not hard to see why the streamer is betting big on this one.
