The Cruise: Fun-Loving Brits at Sea: Season 3 Premiere (5, Monday, March 31, 2025)

Cruise PB

All aboard for another season of high-seas shenanigans! “The Cruise: Fun-Loving Brits at Sea” returns to 5, and if the premiere is anything to go by, this season will be filled with more than just sunshine and cocktails. From missing milk to electrical malfunctions and tardy sailors, the Valiant Lady crew has their work cut out for them.

Kayleigh, part of the Shore Things team, faces the logistical nightmare of herding hundreds of sailors off on excursions, while down in the engine room, electrical engineer Ross battles a vessel-wide emergency when a faulty pump threatens to plunge the ship into darkness.

Meanwhile, up in the galley, Senior Executive Chef Jimmy is on a culinary quest to locate the “missing” milk and butter, a crucial ingredient hunt with a 30-minute deadline before evening service. And overseeing it all, Captain Aris wrestles with a tough decision regarding eight sailors who seem to have missed the boat, literally. As Sailor Services manager Dane races to find their passports before the Valiant Lady sets sail, the possibility of a holiday-ending disaster looms large.

Narrated by Sheridan Smith, “The Cruise” takes a look behind the scenes of cruise ship operations, revealing the everyday pressures and occasional chaos faced by the crew. It makes you realise that even in paradise, things can go sideways – and when they do, it’s the crew who must keep the ship afloat, both literally and figuratively. Tune in to Channel 5 on Monday, March 31st at 4:00 PM for the season premiere.
