If you are searching for a healthy dose of pure, uncut, human absurdity, look no further. In this episode, the cameras of “Customer Wars” capture a menagerie of strange folk, from foot-on-seat train passengers to strangely behaving bus riders.
First up is a tale as old as time (or at least as old as public transportation): a commuter takes issue with a fellow traveler who thinks train seats are for feet. It’s a clash of personal space versus questionable hygiene, and the ensuing argument will be all too familiar to anyone who’s braved a rush-hour commute.
Next, we venture to Lake Forest, California, where a BMX biker and their camera crew test the limits of a security guard’s patience on school grounds. Can these two find any common ground or is this destined to be another viral video? If so, that is just one more reminder that not everyone was created equal.
Finally, in Greensboro, North Carolina, a Ferris wheel becomes the backdrop for a heart-stopping rescue operation after it gets stuck, leaving two children stranded high above the ground. Will the Ferris wheel repair team get these kids down safely, or will this carnival ride turn into a carnival nightmare?
Add to that an incident involving a bus driver and a problematic passenger in Montevideo, Uruguay, and an HVAC technician dealing with an overzealous 911 caller in Golden Valley, Minnesota, and you’ve got an episode that’s about as predictable as a lottery ticket.
“Ferris Wheel Fiasco” airs on A&E, Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 10 PM ET/PT.
