The CW is taking a break from its usual lineup this Sunday to celebrate “Remarkable Women” across the country. This special, airing from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM ET, will focus on the often-unsung heroes who make a difference in their communities, impacting public policy, driving social progress, and improving the quality of life for those around them.
Hosted by Brooke Burke (“Penn & Teller: Fool Us”), the special will honor women from 125 communities nationwide, each nominated for their outstanding contributions. “Remarkable Women” is a testament to the power of local action and the ripple effect that one person can have. The special will highlight the causes that motivate these women, from fighting for environmental justice to supporting at-risk youth, to fostering innovation and creativity in their communities.
