D-Day: The Unheard Tapes continues on BBC Two with its second episode airing on Monday 3 June, offering a unique perspective on the infamous World War II invasion.

The episode focuses on the intense battles that took place on the beaches of Normandy. Hundreds of thousands of Allied troops storm five beaches along the Normandy coast, with American soldiers facing a brutal battle on Omaha Beach, described as a “blood bath.”

At the same time, Royal Marine commandos encounter chaos and confusion at Sword Beach. Through powerful interviews with individuals who were present, the episode narrates the story of the invasion, providing a firsthand account of the unfolding events.
