Hollywood glamour and ballroom elegance collide as all 13 couples take centre stage, delivering dazzling performances to iconic songs from Oscar-nominated films. The episode, titled “Oscars Night,” airs Tuesday night, simulcast live across ABC and Disney+, with next-day streaming on Hulu.
The evening kicks off with a spectacular opening number to “Hooray For Hollywood” by Richard A. Whiting, performed by the Boston Pops Orchestra and John Williams. The routine is expertly choreographed by Britt Stewart and Alan Bersten, setting the tone for a night of captivating dances.
There will be a wide range of dance styles, including the Rumba, Jive, Foxtrot, Paso Doble, Quickstep, Waltz, Salsa, and Tango. During the live simulcast in the ET/CT time zones, fans can show their support by voting for their favourite couples. Online voting is also available across the US, its territories, and Canada via dwtsvote.abc.com, and SMS/text voting is open to fans on participating US wireless carriers (excluding Canada). The live viewer votes from the first two weeks will be combined with the judges’ scores to determine which couples are at risk of facing a double elimination.
