Two familiar faces are slated to return to Studio 8H, with Dave Chappelle and Timothée Chalamet both scheduled to host “Saturday Night Live” in early 2025. Chappelle will take the stage for his fourth hosting gig on January 18, with rapper GloRilla making her debut as musical guest. For Chalamet, it will be his third time hosting, but he’ll also be pulling double duty as the musical guest, marking his first performance in that role.
Chappelle’s return to “SNL” comes as his latest stand-up special, “Dave Chappelle: The Dreamer,” vies for a Grammy Award. Meanwhile, GloRilla has picked up two Grammy nominations herself for her track “Yeah Glo!”. Chalamet, currently starring as Bob Dylan in the biopic “A Complete Unknown,” is also no stranger to awards season recognition, but will be showcasing his musical talents on the “SNL” stage.
The long-running sketch comedy show also has its own milestone coming up. “Saturday Night Live” will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a special live primetime broadcast on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
