The plot thickens as Rafe presents evidence to EJ, including Gil’s fingerprint found in Li’s blood, in an attempt to prove Gabi’s innocence. While Rafe is confident that Gil is the culprit, EJ remains unconvinced, bringing up Gabi’s past mistakes and the damning evidence against her.
Rafe accuses EJ of making it personal and using the situation to punish Gabi. Despite this, Rafe and Stefan persist in their efforts to clear Gabi’s name, adjusting their strategies and hoping for her freedom.
