On Friday’s Days of Our Lives, Abigail DiMera shares a fake memory with Chad, moving him to tears and bringing her closer to her goal of getting him to the altar as demanded by Clyde. At the DiMera mansion, EJ realizes Gabi might be in trouble after she fails to respond to his calls. EJ discovers a bloody fireplace poker, leading him to suspect Gabi’s assistant, Connie, might be responsible.
EJ heads to the DiMera cellar, where he finds Gabi and Melinda trapped in a secret room. Before EJ can rescue them, the bomb planted by Connie explodes, creating a tense and scary situation. Jada arrives to untie Melinda, while EJ rescues an unconscious Gabi.
Meanwhile, Connie holds Ava at knife-point, with Stefan appearing on the scene, horrified. Connie confesses to her crimes, including stabbing Li Shin and framing Gabi, as well as attacking Rafe. She plans to eliminate Stefan and Ava, having already dealt with Gabi.
