On Friday’s Days of Our Lives, Tate, apparently realizing that flip-flopping between love interests is a Salem pastime, broke things off with Sophia. Sophia, naturally, wasn’t thrilled, especially after discovering Tate’s unresolved feelings for Holly. Cue the inevitable reunion of Tate and Holly, leaving Sophia in the wreckage.
Meanwhile, Sarah, still grappling with brain damage, opted for a high-stakes gamble. A spinal injection with experimental serums offered a glimmer of hope, but also the potential for things to go very, very wrong. Kayla, ever the voice of reason, laid out the risks, but Sarah, determined to reclaim her life, forged ahead.
Kristen, never one to miss an opportunity for manipulation, dangled the possibility of a reunion in front of Brady in exchange for his assistance with Sarah’s treatment. Brady, however, wisely refrained from making any commitments, because if Salem has taught us anything, it’s that Kristen’s promises are about as reliable as a soap opera set’s structural integrity.
Amidst the chaos, Ava provided solace to a distraught Sophia, proving that even in Salem, a little human kindness can occasionally peek through the drama. Xander offered support to Sarah, because apparently, someone has to be the level-headed one in this town.
Elsewhere, Maggie updated Holly about Kristen’s reluctant cooperation, while EJ criticized Kristen for not extracting a firmer commitment from Brady. Xander and Maggie, caught up in the pre-procedure tension, shared a moment of apprehensive hope. And, in a final blow to Kristen’s machinations, Brady returned Rachel’s friendship bracelet, putting a definitive end to any romantic notions Kristen might have harbored.
Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on Peacock.
