Salem’s underbelly is about to get a whole lot messier. Monday’s “Days of Our Lives” is setting the stage for another round of Kiriakis family drama, and this time, a forged letter is the weapon of choice. Sarah Kiriakis, never one to shy away from a bit of scheming, finds herself in a precarious position when Stephanie Johnson spills the beans about a certain document. It seems Victor Kiriakis, bless his Machiavellian heart, supposedly penned a letter granting Philip Kiriakis half of Titan in a recent settlement. Only problem? The letter’s a fake.
Now, Sarah’s got a real dilemma on her hands. She knows Xander’s temper, and if he finds out about this forgery, Philip might find himself on the wrong end of Xander’s, shall we say, persuasion techniques. So, Sarah takes matters into her own hands. She confronts Philip and Kate Roberts, the likely masterminds behind this charade, and lays down the law. Keep Xander out of it, play nice at Titan, and she’ll keep her mouth shut. Simple enough, right?
Meanwhile, Xander, oblivious to the brewing storm, is growing increasingly frustrated with Philip’s antics at Titan. He turns to Maggie Kiriakis, hoping she can mediate the escalating tension. Oh, the tangled webs they weave in Salem. Elsewhere, sparks fly between Chad DiMera and Cat Greene, much to Julie Williams’ chagrin. Stephanie Johnson’s juggling act continues, as she grapples with work, Abe Carver’s investigation, Alex Kiriakis’ personal life, and the fallout from her breakup with Philip. And Marlena Evans, still reeling from John Black’s disappearance, seeks comfort and answers from Steve Johnson. As John’s exit looms, we can only wonder what twists and turns await.
“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on Peacock.
