Days of Our Lives Key Art

Salem’s drama dials up to eleven this Thursday on Days of Our Lives, as amnesia, mistaken identity, and desperate pleas collide. Rafe Hernandez’s world continues to unravel, with his memory loss landing him in a jail cell, adding another layer of bewilderment to his already precarious situation. Meanwhile, Belle Black finds herself grappling with the consequences of her choices, confiding in Marlena Evans about the renewed entanglement with EJ DiMera that she’s already starting to regret. Love, or something vaguely resembling it, is never simple in Salem.

Elsewhere, Brady Black, ever the protector of his fractured family, makes a risky plea to Ava Vitali. His goal: to shield Kristen and Rachel from the looming threat of Child Protective Services. Given Kristen’s track record, and Salem’s general propensity for disaster, keeping Rachel under her mother’s roof feels like a precarious balancing act, even for Brady.

Adding fuel to the already raging fire, Gabi Hernandez’s DNA test, facilitated by Kayla Johnson, throws a wrench in the works. The results, intentionally misleading, further entrench the mistaken identity storyline surrounding Rafe, making his amnesiac state even more dangerous. With Jada and Shawn convinced that Rafe is actually Arnold Feniger, faking memory loss to escape consequences, the truth seems further away than ever. And with the memory-altering drug having a more drastic impact than planned, wiping Rafe’s memory clean, the chances of him reclaiming his identity anytime soon appear slim to none.
