Salem’s descent into chaos continues on Thursday’s Days of Our Lives, this time with a healthy dose of mistaken identity and baked goods. While JJ Deveraux and Gabi Hernandez were supposed to be enjoying a romantic interlude, JJ seemed strangely hesitant. Meanwhile, Jada Hunter confided in Stephanie Johnson about her fiancé “Rafe Hernandez’s” odd behavior. Jada remains blissfully unaware that her intended is actually an imposter, Arnold Feniger.
Speaking of the real Rafe Hernandez, he’s currently enjoying EJ DiMera’s unique brand of hospitality, which apparently involves forced captivity, birthday hats, and taunting with cupcakes. Because, you know, nothing says “Happy Birthday” like being locked up by your nemesis. Elsewhere in Salem, Javi Hernandez stumbled upon a rather unpleasant truth: his cousin’s fiancé, the fake Rafe, has been engaging in extracurricular activities with a stripper. The question now is whether Javi will spill the beans or keep mum.
And just when you thought things couldn’t get any weirder, Leo Stark, after a therapy session with Marlena Evans, finds himself tangled in the fake Rafe drama. This after the real Rafe, in a surprising display of resourcefulness, manages to break free and knock EJ unconscious. While EJ recovers from his cupcake-induced coma, Javi is facing increasing pressure from the imposter Rafe to keep his infidelity under wraps. Now, Leo and Javi are contemplating whether to enlighten Jada before she walks down the aisle with a man who isn’t who he claims to be. You can’t make this stuff up.
Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on Peacock.
