Days of Our Lives Key Art

Salem’s never short on romantic entanglements, and this Wednesday on Days of Our Lives, the spotlight shines on a brewing love triangle. With Bonnie’s accident still under investigation, Jada Hunter grills Kerry, the prime suspect in the poisoned cupcake debacle, about his potential involvement. While Kerry admits to his Lady Whistleblower alter ego, he vehemently denies any connection to Bonnie’s fall. Jada, however, isn’t convinced and expands her investigation, determined to uncover the truth.

Amidst the ongoing mystery, love (or at least lust) finds a way. Leo Stark and Javi Hernandez, having weathered the Lady Whistleblower storm, decide to take the plunge into coupledom. Meanwhile, Joy Wesley basks in the glow of her new romance with Alex Kiriakis, oblivious to the storm clouds gathering on the horizon. Those clouds, of course, take the form of Stephanie Johnson, who still carries a torch for Alex after her breakup with Philip.

Stephanie’s confession of lingering feelings throws a wrench into Joy and Alex’s budding romance. The timing couldn’t be worse, as Joy bursts in on a heart-to-heart between Alex and Stephanie at the hospital. This awkward interruption sets the stage for a classic soap opera showdown, with Joy’s blissful ignorance likely shattered by the undeniable spark between Alex and Stephanie. And as always in Salem, where love triangles are as common as bad hair days, someone’s bound to get hurt.
