Dermot O’Leary embarks on a culinary journey to Co Wexford in the first episode of his new series, ‘Dermot O’Leary’s Taste of Ireland’. With a passion for food and a desire to explore his family roots, Dermot begins his gastronomic tour in Co Wexford, renowned for its delicious produce and culinary secrets.
The TV and radio presenter starts his adventure by trying his hand at picking strawberries, one of Wexford’s most famous exports. He then learns how to create a mouth-watering crab linguine in his parents’ favourite restaurant, combining fresh seafood with a classic Italian dish.
Dermot’s exploration of Wexford’s culinary delights continues as he visits a dairy farm, where he discovers the art of butter-making, and joins his father and local hurling stars for a game.
