This Friday’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” is a triple-threat of flavor, featuring everything from Greek comfort food to cheffed-up classics with a twist. “Sauerkraut, Shoyu, and Shank” offers a taste of what’s cooking in kitchens across America.
First up, Guy Fieri heads to Naples, Florida, to check out a Greek restaurant with a distinctly New York flair, where a couple from the Big Apple is serving up dolmades and lamb shanks plated over orzo. Then it’s on to Dallas, Texas, for a taste of pork belly lollipops and – wait for it – sauerkraut chocolate cake. Yup, you read that right.
Finally, Guy makes a pit stop at a Chicago joint known for its next-level ramen, including a shoyu noodle bowl and beef chashu. It’s a cross-country culinary adventure that’s sure to tantalize the taste buds and inspire viewers to get a little creative in their own kitchens. “Sauerkraut, Shoyu and Shank” airs Friday, March 7 at 9:00 PM ET/PT on Food Network.
